What areas do you serve?

We serve Raleigh, NC, and areas within a 20-mile radius. We can travel up to 65 miles for an additional fee.

How do I book your services?

Start by filling out an inquiry form. We’ll review your details and reach out to schedule a consultation and discuss your event. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your date. Person booking must be 21+ to book.

Do you provide alcohol?

No. Sage & Brass does not purchase alcohol. In accordance with North Carolina ABC laws, the client provides the alcohol while we provide the bartending service, known as a "dry hire". We verify IDs and will not serve anyone under 21 or anyone who appears intoxicated. As an added precaution, we check IDs for anyone who appears to be under 40. We are TIPS Certified.

What is included in the bar setup?

Our setup includes the portable bar, eco-friendly drinkware and straws, napkins, bar tools, mixers, garnishes, house-made syrups, ice, custom menu signage, insurance, and a great time! Specific offerings may vary by package.

Can I rent just the portable bar without the bartending services?

At this time, our portable bar is offered as part of our bartending services rather than as a standalone rental.

Do you offer non-alcoholic beverages?

Absolutely! We can create custom mocktails and non-alcoholic options for guests of all ages.

Can you create custom cocktails for my event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We love creating signature cocktails inspired by your event, favorite flavors, season, theme, or color palette. Let us know your ideas, and we’ll craft something unique.

What happens if guests are over served?

Our bartenders are trained to monitor consumption and will stop service to anyone who appears intoxicated. We prioritize responsible service and the safety of your guests.

Do you charge travel fees?

Travel within 20 miles of Raleigh's 27604 area code is included. Beyond 20 miles, a $1.25/mile travel fee applies.

How much alcohol should I buy for my event?

Accepted Answer

We’ll help you determine how much alcohol to purchase based on your guest count, event length, and beverage menu so you’re prepared without unnecessary overbuying.

Question 12

What if my event runs overtime?

Accepted Answer

Additional service hours may be available depending on our schedule. Overtime is billed at $75 an hour per bartender and must be approved before extending service.

How long does setup and breakdown take?

We typically arrive 1–2 hours before service begins for setup and allow about 30–60 minutes after the event for breakdown. Times may vary depending on setup and access to parking.
